Cards Distress Oxide Inks Simon Says Stamp Your Next Stamp

Daisy …. or a Sunflower??

Hey everyone! I’m sharing a card I created for the Your Next Stamp Challenge #75. I decided to use the fall color scheme to play along. My problem was I didn’t have any fall stamps from Your Next Stamp… sooooo …… I used the Spring Daisy stamp set and turned it into a Sunflower! What do ya think?
I stamped my image onto Neenah white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp black ink and colored in with my copics. Then I cut it out with my scan n cut machine. This stamp also has a coordinating die you could use which I linked to below.
For my background, I used the Simon Says Stamp Brush Stroke Messages stamp set which I got in a kit but can also be purchased separately. I stamped it down my Neenah white cardstock panel using a variety of fall colors in the oxide inks. They are also linked down below as well. I think the oxides look super awesome on this! The stamp set was never used so it wasn’t broke in and the oxides left some white blotches here and there which I think really added character to the card. I only stamped them once each in each color.
Then I stamped my sentiment which is also on the Spring Daisy stamp set. I trimmed my white panel down to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and added it to a brown cardstock base measuring 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. I added the sunflower on with foam squares.
