Hello and welcome back! Today’s card is for the sketch challenge over at Your Next Stamp. I just got this stamp in the mail and couldn’t wait to color him up!

First thing I did was stamp my image onto Neenah White cardstock using Your Next Stamp Black Olive Ink which is copic friendly. I colored the image up with my copic markers and then cut out with my Scan n Cut.
I tried to follow the sketch as best as I could so I took some kraft cardstock and stenciled on these cute pawprints with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide. I trimmed the cardstock down and then roughed up the edges with my edge of my scissors. I think it gives it kind of a chewed up look which matches having a puppy on the card!
I stamped the sentiment which is also on the I Ruff You stamp set which the same Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink. I layered up the card, attached my sentiment with some Tombow adhesive and the puppy with foam squares. I added a few Nuvo Drops Dark Walnut to under the sentiment and then colored in the nose and eyes with Nuvo drops Ebony – that’s why his nose looks so shiny.
