Happy Hello again! I have TWO cards to share with you today using a fun die from My Favorite Things. I was able to use the positive and the negative piece to create two cards.
I started out with creating my die cute words. Using some Bristol Smooth Cardstock, I inked it up with a variety of distress inks in rainbow order. I didn’t use yellow because it was so close to the orange color and I wanted to make sure I had enough room to get the array of colors. Once I had all the inks down, I sprinkled it with water for the drops effect.
I then used my Thanks die from My Favorite Things and cut out my words. Since all of it was so pretty I decided to make two cards using the positive and negative pieces. For this first card, I lined up the negative piece onto white cardstock and used that as a guideline to glue my letters down. Then carefully removed the negative so all I had left was my letters. Doesn’t it look fabulous?!
I added my sentiment underneath using the Smitten Kitten Set and started layering my card. I colored up these two little kitties with my copic markers and cut out with my Scan n Cut. They are then added to my card with some foam squares. The finishing touch is adding some beautiful rainbow sequins from Lucy’s Cards using Twinkle Lights – gorgeous set of sequins!
The second card using the negative piece I kept sort of simple. i trimmed it down and added foam tape around the letters. I then used a mix of sequins and jewels to create this shaker card from it.
