Happy Hello again everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week! I wanted to share with you this adorable sloth card I made! Who knew sloths could be so cute?! I have to admit .. this is the first sloth I’ve colored. I planned on entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Lawn Fawn Plaid challenge, but I was a little late in posting .. oh well… still fun to create!
My image from the Lawn Fawn set Hang In There is stamped in Memento Black Tuxedo Ink onto Neenah White Cardstock. I colored my cute little sloth with my copics markers and cut it out with my Scan n Cut machine. Then, I took a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and added a few clouds using my Cloud stencil from My Favorite Things and some Salty Ocean distress ink. I used to have such a hard time with regular distress inks but I have found using them on Bristol smooth really helps!
Using my stitched circle die from Jaded Blossom, I cut out a window for where my clouds will be peeking through. I started by attaching my sloth cut out first with just a little adhesive on the end of the branch so I could line up where he’ll be hanging. Then just started layering it up.
My sentiment banner is cut from my new Fishtail Sentiment die from My Favorite Things and stamped with Simon Says Stamp Lucky Ink. To put a finishing touch, I added some Nuvo Crystal drops Ivory SeaShell.
