Cards Distress Oxide Inks My Favorite Things Neat and Tangled Stencils

Schoolhouse & Stencils – Neat & Tangled

Happy Hello and welcome to Friday! I have a great back to school card to share with you using products from Neat & Tangled that is available at 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store. I also have a quick process video to share so be sure to keep reading!
This set is super cute and I have a few plans for it ! I colored up the fun bear with his backpack using my copic markers and cut it out with my Scan n Cut. I like to leave a little bit of a white border around him so that is what I did.
For my background, I’m using the Modern Triangle Stencil also from Neat & Tangled. This is such a great design! I wanted to use some school colors but didn’t want to use a ton of different inks so I’m using a little trick I picked up from Jennifer McQuire. I’m using the NEW oxide inks and just used 3 colors. Where two of the meet … I blend them together and it creates a whole new color! So I got 5 colors out of using just 3 ink pads.
I added my sentiment from the Schoolhouse to a piece of cardstock I cut from Neenah White Solar cardstock using the Fishtail Die and adhered that to card with foam tape.  For a finishing touch – I added some new Starry Night Sequins using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive and the jewel picker. Very handy tool!
