Cards Copics My Favorite Things Stencils Your Next Stamp

Your Next Stamp – Parrot

Happy Hello and welcome to the weekend!  I’ve had my eye on these stamps for a while and finally got them out to play with! This card is using Parrots from Your Next Stamp. Super cute adorable images! I definitely see me using them more!
For my card, I tackled both the color challenge and the sketch challenge on the YNS blog. I thought the colors would look pretty cool on these parrots — and it does! So I colored up my parrots with my copic markers and cut them out with my Scan n cut.
For my card, I stenciled in some clouds on a piece of white Bristol smooth cardstock and attached that to my base cardstock. This is going to be my background piece for the shaker. I cut out my window with a stitched circle die and also a frame from Blueprint 29 die for the stitched border. I also used the stitched circle to cut my window on two pieces of craft foam.
I added my acetate to the window and adhered all my pieces together with double sided tape. For my shaker I used a mix of sequins and jewels that I will have listed down below. My finishing touches were to add the sentiments and parrots. I’m pretty excited how the clouds and jewels look through the shaker window.
