Happy Hello everyone!! I’m over-the-moon excited to be guest designing for The Greeting Farm this month. I absolutely adore their stamps!!
For my card today I’m using one of their newer images Text Me Anya . She is super cute with her little cell phone. What’s really cool about this is the phone is separate so you could have her holding the phone or anything else by combining from another set.
I started my card by ink blending an large piece of cardstock. I knew that I wanted my background to have the ink blending and I also had planned for a frame to be ink blended as well. I used Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Spiced Marmalade and Cracked Pistachio. I then sprtized some water drops on it and dabbed them off with a paper towel. I love the effect this gives.
Then I cut out the background using Blueprint 29 die and a frame from the Stitched Circle Scallop Frame die both from My Favorite Things. Also using the frame die, I cut a piece of foam that I attached to my distressed frame with Fabritac glue.
For my sentiment, Text Me, which is also on the Text Me Anya set, I cut out a small banner using the extra off my distressed background piece. I used my Misti tool to make sure I stamped it straight using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I love how I got this all to line up matching the colors. I attached the distressed background piece to a piece of craft foam. This card has a lot of cool dimension!
I colored Anya up with my copic markers and cut her out with my Scan n Cut Machine. There is also a coordinating die you can purchase from The Greeting Farm for her.
To finish it off, I added Anya with a couple pieces of foam tape and applied a few Nuvo Morning Dew Drops to the background. It’s really cool in person because the Nuvo drops dry clear so it took on the color of the background piece.
