Cards Embossing Gerda Steiner Designs

Unicorns and Smooshing!

Welcome back! I have a super fun card to share with you today! I’ve been really wanting to try out this technique and I love how it came out. I’ve seen it called a couple things but I’m going with smooshing. This is where you swipe some distress ink onto a craft sheet, spray it with some water   and then take a piece of acetate and “pick up” the ink. When you lay it down on your paper it .. smooshes it lol . I kind of dragged mine around and splotted it here and there. Kind of organized but yet random – crazy I know!
I having dying to play around with these unicorns from Gerda Steiner Designs and so excited that 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store carries them now. I stamped out my image, colored it up and cut it out with my Scan n Cut. For my black banner, I stamped out a sentiment from the same stamp set and heat embossed it with Nuvo Glacier White Embossing Powder. Not only do these bottles look fantastic but the embossing powder is pretty great too haha!
