Gerda Steiner Designs Peek a Boo Card!

Hello everyone! I’m back guest designing today for Gerda Steiner Designs using the Reindeer and a Tree stamp set. I also have a video for this card that you can view down below or on my youtube channel.
I started out by creating my background for the peek a boo window using Faded Denim, Wilted Violet and Seedless Preserve Distress Oxides on Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then spritzed with water from my distress sprayer and soaked up with a paper towel.
I cut out my peek a boo window using the Die Square Peek a Boo using Neenah white cardstock and my Big Shot machine. I also colored my image on Neenah White cardstock and colored in with my copic markers. Take a close look at one of my trees – its so shimmery!!! I used a glitter cardstock for that one – all supplies will be listed down below.
The sentiment is also from this stamp set that I stamped below the window before doing anything else with my card ( very important step lol)
Then I put a little bit of adhesive in the corners to stick my trees and reindeer to. I added some foam tape to the entire back of my card to add some dimension and added the panel to a white cardstsock base. I finished it off with another reindeer grazing in front of the trees.

Reindeer and Tree – Gerda Steiner Designs

Happy Monday!!! I am thrilled to be back guest designing with Gerda Steiner Designs this month! I love their images! Here is a look at the set of my colored images. How stinkin cute are these?!  I was having so much fun that I was able to create TWO cards with this set AND bonus for you – I have a video for them! You can view it down below on my blog or over on my Youtube Channel HERE. Supplies will be listed at the bottom of the post.

I started my whole process by coloring the entire stamp set. I used Neenah White cardstock and Simon Says Stamp black ink. I used my Scan n Cut to cut out the images.
For the background for my first card, I used Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress Inks. I also inked up a piece of cardstock with Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover and die cut the trees from it.
I added a snow hill under the trees, trimmed my distressed piece down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added that to an A2 size cardbase. I lined up where my reindeer would go and stamped my sentiment. Before I actually added the reindeer, I added a little bit of  C1 for shading right underneath them like they are casting a shadow.
My second card is pretty similiar to the first. I ink blended Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick and Blueprint Sketch for my sky. I used a Stitched Hillside die to create the hills and adding a sentiment before adhering everything together. I also added shading under my images for this card as well.

Gerda Steiner Designs – Blast off!

Happy Hello and welcome back! Such a busy week it has been and there’s more to come !

I’m on the 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store blog today sharing my card I created using the Blast off set from Gerda Designs. An absolute MUST HAVE in your collection.

I started off by coloring up my images with my copic markers and cutting them out with my Scan n Cut Machine.
Next I worked on my background. I used a white piece of Neenah Solar White Cardstock and just did a little ink blending in the middle with my Faded Denim Distress Oxide Ink.
I cut out the stitched border with my Blueprint 29 Die and attached it to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of dark blue cardstock. I  attached my images to the card with the astronaut being popped up with foam squares. I used the flag die for my sentiment, added that to my card and finished everything off with Nuvo Crystal Drops – Morning Dew.

For my challenge project today I created a card with The Greeting Farm and created my won background.

I cut out a circle with a circle die out of acetate. Instead of using the circle I used the negative piece. I laid that over my card and then placed my Tim Holtz dotted background stencil over the top of the negative piece. Using my distress ink, I applied a layer of ink. I continued this process around my card, cleaning the stencil in between each so I don’t mix colors.
For my sentiment, I used Happy Birthday from the All Cats set from Gerda Steiner Designs. I heat embossing it onto black cardstock using Nuvo White Embossing powder.
Once my image was colored up, I cut it out with my Scan n Cut machine and popped it up with foam squares.

Gerda Steiner Designs All Cats!

Happy Hello Everyone and welcome to Monday!! I have a super fun card to share today guest designing for Gerda Steiner Designs.

I love the All Cats set and it went perfectly with my new pawprint stencil! This card is super easy to make but has so much character!
I matched some distress ink with my cardstock and applied that to my card with the stencil. I cut out my sentiment strip with my flag die and added the fun “Stay Pawsitive” sentiment from the All Cats stamp set.

This cat image I thought was just hilarious so I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored it with my copics and cut it out with my Scan N Cut machine. I attached my card base and stenciled background together, added the sentiment strip and used foam squares to pop up my grumpy kitty. To finish it off I used some matching Nuvo Crystal drops.
