Tree Duo Stencil with Neat & Tangled

Welcome everyone! I have a clean and simple card to share today using the Tree Duo Stencil from Neat & Tangled. While this stencil is great for adding to your backgrounds, I thought it would make a great focal point as well.

By masking off the edges and other trees on the stencil, I started by centering my middle tree. I then ink blended Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink using a Life Changing Blending Brush.

I removed my masks, cleaned off my stencil and then shifted the stencil over to the left. After masking off my trees and edges again, I ink blended Candied Apple. I repeated the same steps as before, shifted to the right and ink blended Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide inks.

You can see I have a gradient of color and I achieved that by softening my ink blending as I got to the top of each tree.

I stamped a sentiment underneath the trees using the Beavers Eh stamp set and Amalgam ink from Gina K Designs.

I trimmed the card front down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added to a piece of Vanilla card stock with foam tape.

I hope you enjoyed today’s clean and simple card!
