For my challenge project today I created a card with The Greeting Farm and created my won background.

I cut out a circle with a circle die out of acetate. Instead of using the circle I used the negative piece. I laid that over my card and then placed my Tim Holtz dotted background stencil over the top of the negative piece. Using my distress ink, I applied a layer of ink. I continued this process around my card, cleaning the stencil in between each so I don’t mix colors.
For my sentiment, I used Happy Birthday from the All Cats set from Gerda Steiner Designs. I heat embossing it onto black cardstock using Nuvo White Embossing powder.
Once my image was colored up, I cut it out with my Scan n Cut machine and popped it up with foam squares.
