Eclipse Card Making Technique: Hero Arts July 2025 Card Kit

Welcome, friends! I’m so excited to share some fresh inspiration featuring the July 2025 Hero Studio Kit from Hero Arts. Let’s dive into the creative possibilities this month’s release has to offer!

First let’s take a look at the card kit which is always so packed!

It includes one of my favorite types of stamps: Heroscapes!!

VIDEO

I have a video walking you through how I created a fun eclipse technique on my card. You can check that out down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I walk through everything in the video so down below I will list the main supplies used. I have a visual supply list linked at the end of this post and also a supply list in the video description on Youtube.

Stick around til the end because I have more inspiration to share using a few other clubs AND we are having a giveaway!

SUPPLIES

The eclipse technique involves die cutting a sentiment or shape from a stamped background, then popping it up with foam adhesive for a subtle, dimensional effect.

In my video, I share a few helpful tips I discovered while working with this technique that made the process much easier.

I had fun creating two different takes on the scene: one with warm desert tones and another with vibrant green fields.

Kind of has that vintage travel postcard vibe, right? One stop in the desert, the next in the countryside!

Now for some more inspiration from the July 2025 Hero Studio.

Kicking things off with the Die Set of the Month: Mix Tape. I gave it some playful retro vibes for a fun, nostalgic twist!

What I love about this set is all the fun customizable details—from tiny labels to layered elements, it’s full of creative possibilities.

Up next is the layering stencil, designed to create a dimensional sentiment for your focal point. With each layer, you add another piece of the word—bringing it to life step by step.

To complement the stencil sentiment, I included a die-cut image from the Card Kit that adds a relaxed, easygoing feel to the sentiment.

Don’t forget, when you sign up for the Hero Studio which includes all the club kits, you get a bonus item!

Now let’s take a look at that giveaway!
