Mica Stains, Embossing Folders & Wax For Stunning Results

Hey crafty friends! Today i’m showing you how to combine mica stains, embossing folders and wax to get stunning results on your cards.

VIDEO

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Everything is explained in the video so down below I will go over the main supplies used.

The Mica Stains I’m using for my background are:

I’m using Distress Watercolor cardstock because I know it can handle the amount of spray I’m applying.

Once the panel is dry, I’ll use the Golden Fern embossing folder to create an impression.

Over the raised areas of the cardstock, I’m going to lightly apply Gold Hero Wax.

The sentiment comes from the Basic Trio Wafer Die set. I built up the dimension of the sentiment using three layers of white cardstock and attaching with liquid glue.

I finished it off with a smaller sentiment underneath and a few Clear Quartz Sequins.

I love experimenting and playing around with Mica Stains. They provide an amazing shimmer to your backgrounds and the Gold Wax adds shine and makes the embossed area just pop off the front of the card.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!

Thanks for stopping by today.
