You Give Me Butterflies with Gina K Designs

Hey friends! I am sharing inspiration today using the new You Give Me Butterflies Bundle from Gina K Designs.

You can catch the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I’ll be creating one butterfly with the stencil and another using my copic markers.

The first butterfly I have is ink blending with Light Lilac and Medium Orchid inks using my small blending brushes.

I die cut the butterfly out first and used my Sticky Mats to stamp the image and add color with the stencil.

I stamped the large image from the Divine Daisy stamp set onto white cardstock using Whisper ink. In hindsight, I would have gone with maybe Sandy Beach for it to show up a litter better.

I trimmed the stamped panel out with Master Layouts 5 and added it to another white panel created with the Master Layouts 4 for the scalloped mat. Then added these to a card front created from Kraft cardstock.

I also used a white gelly roll pen to add highlights to my butterfly.

For my next card, I’m creating a night scene.

I used the circle from Lots of Dots die set and die cut it from Masking Magic.

After attaching the mask to my cardstock, I’m going to ink blend my sky with the following colors:

To stamp my scene I’m using the Summer Silhouettes stamp set and Versafine Black Ink.

To add the look of “splatter” I’m using my white gelly roll pen and also DecoColor metallic pens in Silver and Gold.

I stamped a sentiment from the You Give Me Butterflies stamp set and added my butterfly with foam squares.

This came out way better then I could have imagined it! Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
