Hello friends! Today I’m sharing how I created the subtle shimmery background using Distress Mica Sprays.

The main products I’m using today to create my card is the Billow Butterfly Plate and Best Year Yet bundle.

I ink blended a background using Morning, Twilight and Galaxy ink using a flat blending brush.

Then in my splat box, I splatted white ink, dried it and sprayed on Brushed Pewter and Tarnished Brass Distress Mica Spray.

I used a Turnabout Jig to hold my background down while I added liquid glue to the back of my die cut panel and attached it over the top.

I stamped a sentiment from the Best Year Yet in Intense Black ink and cut out with the coordinating die .

I finished off the card with a few of these ice sparkle embellishments.

Simple and yet so shimmery!
