Hello friends! Today I’m popping in with a Christmas card. What? I know I know… Christmas cards in June? Kind of crazy but I had this idea and ran with it.

The design of this card was inspired by Dawn from WPlus 9. I’ll link her Instagram HERE.

Now when I first saw this wood slices from Honey Bee Stamps, I immediately thought of the holidays because that’s when I would normally see something like this.

So, I pulled inspiration from Dawn (because she’s a master) and added my own touches to it.

I added some pine needle branches behind the wood slices using the Lovely Layers Pine Cone set. They are inked up with a dark green ink and splattered with white paint.

The background was created with the Pierced Fancy Flakes die, ink blended for a splash of drama and splattered with white paint as well.

The wood slices themselves come from the Lovely Layers Slice & Stump die set.

Then this is all pulled together with a sentiment from the Holiday Wreath stamp set.
