Hello friends! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I wanted to pop in to share a card I created from the Simon Says Stamp Dear Friend release.

My card is featuring the gorgeous Peony Background stamp. Stamps like this scream to be colored in but sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming so instead, try this!

Stamp your background in Intense Black ink for a bold and striking look! Don’t overlook the simplicity in a stamped background.

You can adds a pop of color like I did with my die cut sentiment.

I used the Hello Wafer Die and ink blended it with the Bubblegum, Sweets and Taffy ink using a small blending brush.

I layered the sentiment together for dimension and added it to a shadow layer I created from Vellum.

I finished it off with a sentiment strip from the Reverse Bold Hello set.
