Step Up Your Die Cuts: Simon Says Stamp Dear Friend Blog Hop Day 2

Hello friends! I’m so excited to be joining Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop celebrating their Dear Friend release. Today is Day Two of the blog hop so be sure to visit the Simon Says Stamp blog to check out Day One inspiration!

I’ll be stepping up my die cut by doing a little ombre ink blending.

VIDEO

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I’m making my sentiment the star of the show but first, I need to create my background.

I stamped the Star to Star background stamp onto Hammermill cardstock using Versamark ink. Then heat embossed with Gold embossing powder.

For the sentiment I’m using the Hey Girl wafer die. I started by ink blending a panel of Hammermill cardstock using Sunbeam, Cantaloupe and Peony Ink.

Then I die cut out the sentiment from the ink blended panel, another plain white panel and Matte Gold cardstock.

Be sure to check out my video for a super helpful trick!

Really simple card where most of the work really went into this fun and unique sentiment.
