Layering Your Inks: Honey Bee Stamps Adventure Awaits Release

A brand new release is now available from Honey Bee Stamps and I’m playing with the Lovely Layers Water Lily and layering my distress inks to get a different color. You can do this technique with any inks but I love the vibrancy of the distress inks.

You can watch the video tutorial down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Since I go over everything in the video, I will list the main supplies used down below.

I’m using the beautiful new Lovely Layers Water Lily die set from Honey Bee Stamps. I inked it up with Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves. This is one of those times where I kind of created my own color of ink.

For the lily pad, I used Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Inks.

I thought the Layered Waves stencil would be perfect for the background.

I inked it up with Salvaged Patina, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Villainous Potion Distress Inks using blending brushes.

Then splattered the background with white paint and water.

The sentiment I’m using today comes from the new Be Still stamp set and coordinating die.

I added bits of sparkle with my unicorn stickles and embellished with Ocean Waves Pearls.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!

So much more in now available over at Honey Bee Stamps!
