Cards Distress Inks Foiling Simon Says Stamp Stencils Videos Youtube

Beautiful Days Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hello everyone! I’m excited to be joining Simon Says Stamp in a blog hop featuring their Beautiful Days release !

VIDEO

I have a video that you can check out down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

My card today is doing a fun inky technique that I learned from Jennifer McGuire over at Online Card Classes during their Stenciled 2 class. It includes water reactive ink, a stencil and a baby wipe!

This is the card I’m featuring in the video. It is using the Chunky Knit stencil and Rustic Wilderness Distress ink. It’s suggested to use a super dark ink which is why I chose Rustic Wilderness.

Look at the fun reactive pattern the stencil leaves when run through with a baby wipe!

I added the Leafy Sprig in the center die cut from 110 lb white cardstock.

For the sentiment, I foiled one of the sentiments from the Reverse Sisters sentiment strips using Champagne Deco Foil. Normally, I use these strips as is, which is black but I thought it would be fun to foil it up. I’m showing how to do this in my video.

This next card is one I create previously and sent in to Simon Says Stamp. I used the same technique and supplies except for the color of ink. I believe I used Lucky Clover for this one .

This is such a fun technique and works great with any stencil!
