- 2 Sheets of Cherry Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
- 2 Sheets of Watercolor Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
That is a $70 value for only $34.99!
All the details about the cards are in the video so down below I will briefly go over supplies used.
I used the cover plate die in the kit to create a shaker card. All you need is a piece of acetate and sequins mix.
I only used one layer of foam tape to create my shaker well so there isn’t a lot of shake but this also makes the sequins a little more visible all over the front of the card.
My sentiment comes from the Peonies Bunch stamp set included in the kit. I inked it up in embossing ink and stamped it onto Azalea cardstock. Then used some Gold embossing powder and heat set it.
My next card shows how to use the image from the Peonies bunch without having to color it. I like including option in my inspirational cards.
The image is stamped onto the Azalea cardstock using Dove White ink from my collection. I also stamped the image in Intens-ified Black ink and used the coordinating die to cut it out and add to the front of the card.
When you have such a gorgeous color of cardstock, you don’t need much else except a sentiment. Dress it up with the White Hero Pearls also included in the kit.
My final card is using the Reactive ink cubes.
I ink smooshed a background onto the included watercolor cardstock.
I used the cubes to loosely water color the image that I heat embossed in clear embossing powder.
Whenever I feel I need to reign in a background so it doesn’t overpower the image, I use my Rectangle Infinity dies to create a thick frame.
Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration using the January 2023 Make Yourself At Home card kit.
