Happy Independence Day to my U. S. friends ! I have two cards to share with you today both featuring the School Friends stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh.
I had these colored up a few weeks ago and just added them to some cards recently. This is really a super sweet set and I see myself using this again soon for when school starts back up.
I kept my first card fairly simple. I left a lot of white space which is very unusual for me . All I did for the card front of this was add a piece of Post it tape to the bottom portion of a white panel of Neenah white cardstock. Next I lightly ink blended some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink. I like the definite line the post it tape created which grounds my images a little.
Next, I added a simple sentiment to the bottom corner of the cardstock panel. I finished it off by attaching to an A2 size notecard.
For my next card, I got a little more colorful in the background. I trimmed a piece of patterned paper to 4″ x 5 1/4″ to fit an A2 size notecard.
I also die cut a circle from patterned paper and a Stitched Scallop Circle from neenah white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment right onto the lined patterned paper and added my images.
All of my images are stamped onto Neenah white cardstock with copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. I die cut all the elements using the coordinating die set.
This is such an adorable set!
