Hey crafty friends! I have an exclusive video over on the MFT Stamps Youtube channel showing how to make your own custom DIY Glitter paper.
You can check that video out HERE.
Not only am I making my own glitter paper but I’m trying to use the supplies I have on hand like my Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Paste (which unfortunately I cannot find online anymore). I’ve honestly had this stuff for a couple years and thankfully (and surprisingly) it’s still good.

I’m ink blending a background using Lumberjack Plaid, Worn Lipstick and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide inks.
Then I’m spreading the Cosmic Shimmer Icicle Blue Sparkle over the top with a palette knife.

I’m taking the die set A Very Big Hi and die cutting it from white cardstock. I will line the back with red line tape and add acetate because at this point I wasn’t sure if I would also make it a shaker card.
I’m using foam tape to create my well for shaker bits (just in case).
Once my glitter background was dry, I decided I wanted to leave it as is and not make a shaker so I added my die cut window over the top.
On the back of the glitter paper, I added double sided adhesive sheet and added to a white card base.

I’m finishing this card off with a sentiment from the Champagne Sentiment stamp set. I heat embossed it in detail White onto Black cardstock.
Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
