Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a wintery holiday card using Distress Mica Stains from Ranger. It’s a fun way to color up your die cuts and add some texture.
There are two collections out there and I have the ones from this year and last year. If you don’t have the mica stains, any sprays will work. I just love the shimmery look these stains provide.
VIDEO
I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
For the floral arrangement, I’m using the Pretty Pink Posh Winter Foliage which includes the poinsettia.
I’m creating texture on watercolor cardstock using a variety of Distress Mica Stains. I will then die cut my foliage and flower from these dried panels.

For the background, I have some light blue cardstock that I’m ink blending the Layered Snowflake stencil on with Turquoise Sea ink.

The sentiment comes from the Holiday Scripts stamp set. I heat embossed it on Tranquil Teal cardstock with white embossing powder.

I finish off the center of the poinsettia with some gold pearls.

I love this distressed look on the foliage and I think it makes a great mixed media card.

Be sure to catch the video for all the details.
Thanks for stopping by!
Pretty card, Mindy! I need to place a PPP order… you reminded me that I have a coupon that expires 12/31/22. Thanks!
