Welcome back friends!
Today I have a hot foiling card to share with you today and some tips about foiling and ink blending.

You can watch the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
All the details are provided in the video so I will briefly go over some products I used.
Everyone has their own way of foiling and what works best for them. For me, I like to ink blend my background first and then foil. Yes, you can foil over a blended panel and the foil will resist the ink. But sometimes, I find the ink dulls the foil and didn’t want to dull this beautiful shine!

I blended Antique Linen, Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves and Chipped Sapphire distress oxide ink.
After the panel was dry, I foiled with the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System, Silver Glimmer Foil and the Snowflake Background Hot Foil Plate.

I set the scene with the Build-A-Snowman die, a stitched hillside and a snowflake border with the Snow Flurries Backdrop.

The sentiment comes from the Snow Much Fun stamp set that is stamped in Black Licorice ink.

Hope you enjoyed the card project and be sure to check out my video for foiling tips.
