Hello friends! I”m excited to be joining Simon Says Stamp this month in a blog hop celebrating their latest release! So many amazing products! I already placed my order!
Today, let’s talk about cards that almost didn’t happen. What I mean is, a card you started, wasn’t happy with how it was going but you pushed through and ended up with a beautiful card. Has that happened to you? Well, that’s what my card today is all about.
VIDEO
I have a video walking you through the process of my card that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.
My card features the new Daisies and Leaves stencil which is very delicate. This is one I would definitely recommend using Pixie Spray on to help adhere it to the card.

When we are working on cards, sometimes we have to push through one phase of it to get to the good part. When I first started ink blended, I wasn’t happy with my results.
But after I trimmed the panel down, I found that sweet spot.

I love the thick white border that I have which I think really makes the blended panel pop.
I finished it off by simply stamping a sentiment from Mom’s Spring Flowers to center with Versafine ink.

If you are doing any shopping don’t forget your free gift with purchase as shown at the top of this post!

As a perfectionist, there have been many times when I have been tempted not to go with what I had planned and just toss my card. Sometimes we are our own worst critics!

I just found a box of card backgrounds that were in the back of a cupboard, ones that I hadn’t liked in the past, but now I’ve learned new ways to “fix” them. Glad you kept on with a card you didn’t like at first.
