Neighborhood Houses with Hero Arts

Hi friends! Hope you are having a crafty weekend. I wanted to pop in today to share a card I created using the Neighborhood Houses from Hero Arts latest release. These little houses are just the cutest!

I die cut my houses and trees from a variety of cardstock from Hero Arts including Adriatic, Cherry, Mustard, Paradise and Meadow.

Then I grabbed a shade darker ink and blended it from the bottom of the house fading into the color of the cardstock towards the top using a blending brush.

There is just something about this color palette that I just absolutely love!

Before stamping my sentiment, I’m going to figure out where I want everything to go. I do this with my card base in my Misti tool and after aligning the houses and sentiment, I will pick up the sentiment with the door of my Misti and remove the houses.

Sometime, I will even take a picture before removing the houses so I know the order I had them in.

The sentiment is then stamped in Intensified Black ink and now I can finish adding my houses and trees. The houses and trees in the front I’m going to add with foam squares to separate them from the houses in the back.

Pretty quick and simple but striking with these colors.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card! See you soon!
