Welcome everyone! Today is Day 2 of our 3-day blog hop featuring the new Gina K Designs September release. If you are looking for more inspiration you can also check out
My first card is using the Bloomin Wild from Lisa Hetrick. I love these big gorgeous blooms!
I stamped the images onto Layering white card stock and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Using a blending tool, I ink blended the bloom with Bubblegum and Red Velvet inks. For the leaves I used Lucky Clover ink from Gina K Designs. Then I used the coordinating die to cut them out.
For my background, I used the versatile Sassy Stripes stencil with Red Velvet ink. I trimmed a piece of white card stock down to 3″ x 4″ and added to the center to help break up the design a little bit.

I added my blooms and leaves to the bottom corner using a dot runner adhesive and foam squares. This adorable sentiment comes from the stamp set Winter Hugs. I heat embossed it in white onto Black Onyx card stock and added to the front with foam squares.
I love how the sentiment really pops from the card.

Here is a look at the Bloomin Wild stamp set.

Next is Timeless Poppies by Arjita.
I stamped this large image onto Fabriano watercolor paper using embossing ink and heat embossed with Champagne embossing powder.
I taped my panel down to a board and watercolored with my trusty zig markers. The markers used are No. 222 Pink Flamingo, No. 029 Geranium Red, No.041 Light Green, No. 040 Green and No. 044 Deep Green.

Using the Master Layouts 1 die set, I cut out my image and added to a white card base using foam tape to give it a little dimension.
I’m always in need of birthday cards so I added this one from the Delightful Blooms stamp set.

We will have more inspiration to share with you tomorrow so be sure to stop back!

Hi, Mindy –
I like both cards, but the Birthday Wishes knocked me out when I saw it. I love the choice for embossing powder color, the way you blended the inks… it’s exceptionally beautiful and I love how the colors look together. Thanks so much for these great exemplars. I don’t know how you do it!?!
