VIDEO: Good Vibes! Easy Stenciled Cards

Welcome friends! Erin Lee Creative has a new release available filled with stencils and you know I love a good stencil!

I also have a (REAL!) video showing how I created these cards. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Hold on tight – we are going tropical!

The first stencil that caught my eye was the Palm Tree Stencil. Such a fun design and really gives me all the summer vibes!

I’ll be using Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs, Mustard Seed, Candied Apple and Seedless Preserves distress oxides to ink blend my scene.

Keeping the design of the card simple, I die cut the Good Vibes twice from White cardstock and once from Black Glossy cardstock and adhered to the front of the card.

Next we have the Monstera Layering Stencil which is great for creating your own pattern paper.

I’m ink blending the first layer in Salvaged Patina and the second layer in Peacock Feathers distress oxide inks.

To intensify the background a bit more, I’m going to lightly ink blend around the edges Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot distress oxide inks.

I’m also going to use the Gamsai Tambi Starry Sky colors to add flicks of gold and pearl white to the background.

Again, I can finish this card off by simply adding the die cut sentiment to the center of the card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s cards. I know they are pretty simple but simple is fun too!
