Lawn Fawn Summer Release Week: Toucan Do It, Tropical Leaves Backdrop, Tropical Vine Borders

Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s Summer 2021 Inspiration and Release week! On June 24th our 7 new stamp sets and coordinating dies, 16 new standalone die sets, 4 new stencil sets and a colorful new paper collection will be for sale at your favorite store and at www.lawnfawn.com! Woohoo! Until then, I will be sharing lots of inspiration using the new release.

Today is our showcase of Toucan Do It and its coordinating dies, Tropical Leaves BackdropSlimline Tropical Leaves Border and Tropical Vine Borders!

This release is totally my jam! Starting with this tropical night time scene. I used each of the new products being showcased today.

I’m starting with creating a sky by ink blending Twisted Citron, Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks. I flicked it with water and added Liquid Stardust.

Next, I die cut the Tropical Leaves Backdrop from Rainforest cardstock and also from cardstock I sprayed with Distress Spray Stains. I layered these together over my blended background to give a shadow look.

I added my images from the Toucan Do It stamp set that I colored with copic markers.

Then sentiment is from the Thanks Thanks Thanks stamp/die set.

My next card I went for a little more dramatic look.

This one has a background I created by ink blending Dried Marigold, Barn Door, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot.

This time I added the Tropical Leaves Backdrop die cut from Black Licorice cardstock. I went around all the edges with a white gelly roll pen.

I added the die cut word that I created with shimmer cardstock using Cole’s ABC’s.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
