Background stamps are one of my favorite things to use because they are so versatile. I hadn’t used my Karin markers in a while and thought this was a perfect time to dig them out to do a little watercoloring.
After heat embossing the background onto Fabriano Artistico water color paper using white embossing powder, I taped it down to a board to prevent any warping.

I scribbled some colors onto my glass media mat, wet my card stock with a few spritzs of water and then picked up the color with a wet paint brush. I just loosey-goosey applied my color to my paper.
After it was dry and I trimmed the panel down, I used a few words from the I Really Miss You Die-namics and added them to the front of the card.

This is a very simple way to watercolor a background and the Karin markers have such beautiful colors.
