Welcome everyone! Tonight I’m sharing a page from my December Daily album for 2020. As Ali Edwards would say, I’m setting myself up for success.
I do feel pretty accomplished because I finished my 2019 album within December last year. I’m hoping this year, I can stay on track as well. Part of that is getting some pages set up ahead of time.
My page tonight is from Ali Edwards Product Play 4 class. She used felt which looks amazing but unfortunately I could not find my felt and I really wanted to get a start. Instead of the felt, I cut up triangles using the pattern paper from the Main December Daily Kit.
I will admit, I was hesitant with the look of this but I’m all about trying new things and getting out of my comfort zone. Once I had it completed, I fell in love with it. Behind each piece of pattern paper is another triangle cut from white card stock. I used my scor-pal to create a small score line and then stapled the two pieces together with the Tim Holtz tiny attacher.
Now I’ll be able to easily flip the pieces up to reveal whatever I put underneath. There are lots of ideas for what could be hidden under the flaps. Anywhere from pictures, journaling, maybe some small magazine clippings or even just stamping sentiments.
I added my triangles to a transparency sheet that has some small diagonal lines going across. I think this came from one of the Week In The Life sets.
