Cards Picket Fence Studios Watercolors

Picket Fence Studios & WOW Embossing Powder Collaboration Blog Hop

Welcome everyone! Picket Fence Studios and WOW Embossing have teamed up to bring you some amazing inspiration!

WOW Embossing has a huge variety of embossing powders. I’ve seen their team do fabulous projects them. When I was looking through their site, I settled on powders I would be most likely to reach for.

When I first receive embossing powders, I always test them out on white and black cardstock since that is what I use the most.

Today I’m playing with Oyster Glintz, Metallic Gold Rich Regular, and Mayan Glintz embossing powders.

I heat embossed the image from Watercolor Trees & Bushes 3 times onto Pitch Black cardstock from Hero Arts.

I felt like being a little artsy and decided to play with my Metallic Watercolors from Altenew. At this point I forgot that I did not heat emboss the images onto black watercolor paper but this cardstock surprisingly held up well.

I used a variety of metallic watercolors throughout the three cards, purposely leaving the messages edges.

To keep things simple, I used the same sentiment throughout each card. It comes from the Early Tulip Bouquet stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed taking a look at how these different embossing powders look on the black cardstock.
