This hippo wanted to come out and play!! My card today is featuring the Hello Goodbye stamp set that was recently released from C.C. Designs.
I’m going to start off my card by stamping my image onto Neenah white cardstock 80 lbs. with a copic safe ink. Then coloring with copic markers and using the coordinating die to cut it out. This hippo looks like it’s having way too much fun!
For my background, I’m going to use Hexastar Stencil and ink blend Mermaid Lagoon and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide. Then I’ll use the Stitched Rectangles to diecut this panel and attach to an A2 size notecard.
I embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder onto black cardstock and trimmed down. I also used a random strip of black/white pattern paper and added under my embossed sentiment strip.
My dancing hippo is added to the card with foam squares and for some fun I added a few jewels from Pretty Pink Posh. Such a fun card! Be sure to check out the new release from C.C. Designs!
