Santa Paws – Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

Hi everyone! It’s time for another Wonderful Wednesday Challenge with Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. Be sure to check out the Kraftin Kimmie Stamps blog for details to play and how you can win!
I have a video for my card today too and you can view that down below in the post or HERE on my youtube channel.

Today’s card is featuring Santa Paws. This is such a super adorable set. I started by stamping my image onto Neenah White cardstock with Simon Says Stamp black ink. I colored with my copic markers and then cut it out with my scan n cut machine.
For my background, I used Bristol Smooth cardstock and distress inks to create an ombre effect. I started with the darkest at the top and worked my way down to the lightest. Then I flicked on some water and also some perfect pearls. I added this panel to a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base.

For the HAPPY die cut, I covered a strip of white cardstock with versamark ink and heat embossed some silver embossing powder. Then die cut my word HAPPY from it. I also stamped the word Howl-idays by masking off part of the stamp and heat embossing with silver embossing powder as well. I adhered everything to the card and added a few gold sequins. Just for fun, I added some Nuvo Silver Moondust to the center of the sequins.
