My card for today features these darling reindeer from Reindeer Games. I can’t get enough of this stamp! I decided this time to make a shaker card because when I think of winter I think of sparkles and this card is filled with sparkle!
I started out by distressing two panels of cardstock using Bristol Smooth cardstock and Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire distress ink.
One panel, I die cut with my Blueprint 29 die to create the stitched border and the other I die cut using my the same die but a different piece to create the window. I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the window and then added two layers of foam tape.
I had colored the cabin using copic markers on a piece of Neenah white cardstock and made it slightly bigger then the bottom window frame.I added some glitter and attached the cabin piece. I also added some sequins mix to the top portion and attached a distressed piece behind that. This actually came from when I diecut the window pieces out. Hope that makes sense. I wanted it to look kind of like the sky.
My reindeer at stamped on Neenah White cardstock and colored with copic markers. Then I cut them out with my scan n cut machine. You can also fussy cut them too. I added my shaker piece to the previous distressed panel which sits on a white piece of cardstock measuing 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. I added the reindeer in the corners and we are all done!
