Welcome! Today’s card is another entry in the My Favorite Things Card Design Superstar Challenge. This one is for the Coloring Virtuoso category. I love my copic markers so I had a little fun with this one.
I started first making my background using distress ink oxides and the Cloud Stencil. Then I cut some waves for with the Wave Die and a beach with the Downhill Slope Die. I had my scene created so I could start on my images.
Using the Mermazing stamp set, I colored up 3 mermaids and a couple elements. There is a coordinating die for this stamp set as well. I used the Fishtail Sentiments die to cut a banner trimming off one end and stamping my sentiment from the Friends Furever stamp set. I just thought that sentiment matched so perfectly with my variety of mermaids.
I attached my layers together.. making sure to tuck in my mermaids in the waves so it looked like they were swimming or jumping out of the water. I finished it off by adding some Nuvo Glitter Silver Moondust to the edges of my waves because I needed a little more sparkle.
