Today I’m sharing a cozy winter card that brings together a few of my favorite seasonal supplies. I used the Warm Mug stencil and die set along with the Snowy Hillside embossing folder to create a soft, snowy scene that feels perfect for chilly days.

I started by embossing the Snowy Hillside design onto white cardstock. Once the texture was in place, I added a gentle wash of color by lightly blending Dew ink from Trio 26 over the raised areas. It keeps the scene soft while still letting all that beautiful texture show through.

For the mittens and mug from the Warm Mug set, I began with a simple white die cut. My tacky mat held everything in place while I blended muted purples, blues, and browns across the piece. The mix creates a warm, winter-ready palette without overpowering the background. I added the warm mug to the center of my snowy scene with foam tape for a little lift and extra coziness.

To finish things off, I stamped a sentiment from the Tree Plate Greetings set and popped it up with foam tape as well. The dimension keeps the whole design feeling layered and inviting.

Thanks so much for stopping by and spending a little creative time with me today. Until next time, happy crafting!

Mindy, your card is adorable, I love that you used the new embossing folder as a background , that was a great reminder to me that a focal image can do double duty and it doesn’t always have to be front and center. It’s a balmy 23° as I’m hopping along from the warmth of my living room & your card is a great example of a card that can be changed up for different occasions. Perfect as a Christmas card, a winter “thinking of you” & I can even see it as a get well card for someone that is feeling a little under the weather. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
