Welcome, friends! I’m thrilled to be joining Spellbinders today for a special blog hop celebrating their August 2025 Club Subscriptions. This month’s collections are full of creativity and inspiration, and I couldn’t wait to dive in. My project features the stunning Mermaid Tails Wax Seal, a design that instantly transported me to shimmering waters and magical ocean vibes.
There are so many beautiful products in this month’s release that I just couldn’t resist combining a few of my favorites into one project.
I created my wax seal using a mix of Aqua and Teal Wax Beads, blending them together for a rich, ocean-inspired look. Once it cooled, I gently brushed a gold metallic marker over the raised details, adding a shimmering highlight that makes the design truly stand out.
For the background, I used the August 2025 Embossing Folder of the Month with Seaside cardstock, adding a soft, ocean-like texture that perfectly complements the mermaid theme.
I embellished around the wax seal with die-cut elements from the August 2025 Large Die of the Month, crafted from Chiffon and Rainforest cardstock. The wax seal nestles perfectly inside the clam shell, creating a beautiful focal point.
I finished the design with a sentiment from the August 2025 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month, stamped in crisp black ink on white cardstock, then cut out with the coordinating die for a clean, polished look.

OK-so now I really want to go down the rabbit hole of wax seals after seeing your card! That is one of the most adorable ones I have seen and you used it perfectly on your card.
