Hello friends! Today I’m joining in a blog hop featuring the Spellbinders November 2024 Club Kits! We have tons of inspiration and a giveaway!

I created tons of cards already mixing and matching the November clubs but today I wanted to share a completely different spin on them! Especially since I’m in the Christmas-cardmaking mood, I am turning mine into a Christmas card.
I was inspired by a recent card kit to make the pinwheels of the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month Red and White.
I started with a piece of White cardstock and running it through my Spellbinders Platinum 6 with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month for November 2024.

Next, I took a Red ink pad and drug it across the entire card front panel. The raised areas of the embossed cardstock caught the ink and put emphasis on those areas.
I also took a flat blending brush and glided over the top of the panel to soft it a bit.

Using a smaller blending brush, I ink blended the centers.
Do you create a bunch of sentiments throughout the year and just put them in a drawer to use at another time? I do that and found these two sentiments that I wanted to finally put into use.
The larger sentiment is called from Festive Lights which was the Glimmer of the Month for October. I had happened to foil it with Red glimmer foil which worked perfectly for this card.
The smaller sentiment is one I’ve had in my drawer for a while ! It’s from the Merry & Bright Sentiment Strips and is a betterpress plate.
I’m so happy to finally put some of these extra pieces to use !

Now doesn’t this just give you retro candy cane vibes? It does me !
So although this 3D embossing folder could easier be paired with the rest of the November clubs for birthdays and celebratory occasions, look how fun it is for your Christmas cards!
