Cards Christmas Pink Fresh Studio Stencils Washi Tape

Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Release Blog Hop

Welcome friends ! I’m so excited to be joining Pinkfresh Studio in a blog hop celebrating their Essentials Release. These are some great product that are sure to be staples in your everyday crafting and cardmaking.

For my first card I’m featuring the Nested Hexagons Blanket Stitch and Nested Rectangles Diagonal Stitch.

I started by creating a background with the Painted Daisies Layering stencil on a A2 size piece of Hammermill cardstock. Then I ran it through my diecut machine with the largest of the Nested Rectangles Diagonal Stitch die. I also splattered with White paint for added interest.

I’m using the Nested Hexagons Blanket Stitch as a focal point for my sentiment. I trimmed one size out of White cardstock and the next largest size to that from Vellum, popping each layer up with foam squares.

The sentiment comes from the Holiday Greetings Sentiments. I stamped it in Detail Black ink and trimmed out with the coordinating die.

I finished off with some Gold Glitter embellishments.

Who knew daisies could be used for Christmas cards?

The next card is using the Nested Rectangles Diagonal Stitch and also the Nested Rectangles Postage die.

These layers are both cut from White cardstock and layered together with foam tape on top of a piece of Eucalyptus cardstock.

For the imagery, I used the wreath from the Deck The Halls Washi Tape cut out with the coordinating die.

This sentiment is also from the Holiday Greetings but this one is using the Betterpress Plate and Detail Black Ink.

Again I finished off with Gold Glitter embellishments because … why not?

Love the added detail and texture that these dies provide to a simple card.
