Cards Embossing Folders Simon Says Stamp

Happily Ever After

Welcome friends! Today I wanted to share with you a card I created featuring some products from the Simon Says Stamp Celebrate release.

I am using the Beaufort Floral Frame embossing folder for my background which also comes with dies to cut out some of the flowers. I started by embossing the design onto Hammermill cardstock.

Then I went over the background with a blending brush and Tidepool and Tropic Ink.

Next, I die cut out the flowers and then taped them in place in the embossing folder to get the embossed look. I ink blended the flowers with Guava, Stardust and Cheeky ink using small blending brushes.

The sentiment is using the Happily Ever After die cut from Champagne Foil Cardstock. I added layers to it with white cardstock and added it to a vellum backer.

I adhered my embossed panel to an A2 size side folding card base using double sided adhesive sheets.

Next, I added my flowers using thin foam squares and finally my sentiment.

I finished off by embellishing with Starshine Sequins mix.

I love these colors together and makes such a whimsical wedding card or it could be anniversary card!

Thanks for popping in.
