Welcome friends! I am creating a card today using a tried and true favorite technique: Emboss Resist. If you have never done this before, it is super easy and a great go-to technique when you are in a rut.

I am using a minimal amount of supplies to create this card starting with heat embossing the Flower Burst background in Sterling embossing powder with Versamark Ink.

I’ll then ink blend over the background using Peony, Galaxy and Black ink using a blending brush. The embossing will resist the ink and still shine !

Let’ add some more shimmer and shine to the background by splattering on Bee Shimmery Watercolor ink from Honey Bee Stamps.

Next I’ll add a die cut sentiment to the center of the panel. I created the Sending Love & Hugs from Silver cardstock built up with white die cuts for dimension and a shadow layer of vellum.

Easy peasy and a stunning results!
