I’m excited to be joining Spellbinders and a wonderful group of designers in celebrating Spellbinders’ 23rd Birthday with a fun-filled blog hop! We’re sharing lots of inspiration along the way, plus there’s a giveaway, so be sure to stick around for all the details.
For my project, I finally pulled out the Just Add Cake Card Kit, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint. This kit is packed with crafty goodness, including cardstock, dies, stamps, an embossing folder, and even envelopes, making it easy to jump right in and start creating.
The star of my card is this adorable birthday monster. If you’ve ever joined one of my lives or classes, you know that somehow our conversations almost always end up revolving around cupcakes. Naturally, this little guy had to be enjoying one! Although, now that I think about it, a giant slice of pizza would have been a pretty solid choice too.
What I love most about this card is the playful personality. Between the cheerful monster, the festive birthday theme, and the fun sentiment, it just makes me smile. The embossed background adds to the party atmosphere, while the arched design helps frame the scene and gives my cupcake-loving friend the perfect spot to celebrate.
