Hello crafty friends! Today I have a project to share where I’m doing some stencil shifting. It’s a great technique to do to fill up an entire background. I’ll be using some new products from the Simon Says Stamp Be Creative Release.

VIDEO
I have a video tutorial down below that you can view or HERE on my Youtube channel.
In the video, I’m actually showing you two ways that you can create this background so be sure to check that out.
I’m also taking a look at some new products that I think you might be interested and things I wanted or will be trying out in the near future.

This background was creating with the new Brush Strokes Stencil which I absolutely love!
I’m ink blending on a variety of rainbow colors from Simon Says Stamp. They are all linked individually down below but the inks are also sold in sets that you could purchase.

I’m using Large and Small blending brushes to ink blend the colors on. The small ones work well for adding some amounts of detail to each area.
I’m also trying out the new Stamp and Stencil mat. I’ve used something similar in my Misti for stamping but haven’t really tried ink blending with it yet so I’m experimenting with that.
I’m using the new Big Old Birthday Set for my sentiment. I love a good birthday sentiment and this set has tons! Plus coordinating dies – BONUS!

Something else I was experimenting with is the new 12″ T-Square Ruler. I normally eye ball everything but wanted to try and use the ruler today. It’s definitely something I need to get used to lol.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card project and inspiration! I appreciate you stopping by.
Hugs!

I think all the options worked well. Nice cards!
