Cards Christmas Foiling Lawn Fawn Youtube

Ways To Use Hot Foil Plates With No Foil!

Hi friends! Today I have a video for you sharing how you can use hot foil plates with no foil!

I absolutely love hot foiling but it is an investment. Today I want to show you how you can still use hot foil plates in card making or maybe get more use out of your hot foil plates.

VIDEO

You can catch the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Since I go over everything in great detail in the video, down below I will list the main supplies used.

All of my cards are featuring the Snowflake Background hot foil plate from Lawn Fawn but these techniques can be used with any hot foil plate.

This first card, featuring the Snowflake Background hot foil plate, has an embossed design to it using Moonstone card stock. Then I lightly blended over it with Blue Jay ink.

It’s finished off with some snowflakes from the Snowflurries Backdrop and a sentiment from the Winter Wavy Sayings stamp set.

This card below shows the impression of the foil plate stamped on top of the Moonstone card stock with Blue Jay Ink.

Keeping it simple, I added the Giant Outlined Oh What Fun to the front.

The card below is also another stamped design but this time onto Chili Pepper card stock with Cranberry ink.

I added the border from Snow Flurries backdrop and snowflake in the center.

Once again, using the Winter Wavy Sayings for a sentiment.

My last card also stamping with the hot foil plate but this time in Yeti Pigment ink.

I added the car from Deck The Car to the front.

Be sure to check out the video for all the details on how I created these looks.

Hope you found these inspiring and helpful!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for the great video and inspiration. I don’t have too many hot foil plates (yet) but this certainly expands their use.
