Sending Hugs

Hi friends! Are you getting crafty this weekend? I will be!

I’m stopping by to share inspiration using the Printmaking Plants from Simon Says Stamp. This is a layering stamp set and it is so easy to line up these images.

This is not your traditional layering set like you may have seen me share in other cards. We are not adding layers to add depth and dimension to an image. This layering set is to color the images quickly and easily.

The images are grouped together just as you see here. The first layer is an outline layer (so not really a layer) that I stamped in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.

The REAL first layer is parts of the leaves on each plant where I stamped Dublin Saturated Ink (light green).

Second layer is the other half of the leaves for each plant in which I stamped Pine Saturday Ink (dark green).

To color the pot, I stamped one layer in Seafoam and the other layer in Guava Saturated Inks.

I don’t have the coordinating dies for this so I kept the front of the card clean and simple.

I added a couple sentiments from the Clean line Stacks stamp set.

To bring that pink out a little I added this panel to a card base created from Ballet Slippers cardstock.

This would be easy to mass produce a bunch of cards and just change out the sentiments as needed.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
