Hello crafty friends! It’s a busy Friday around here! I’m joining Altenew in a blog hop celebrating their Sweet Moments collection. I had a ton of fun with this one! Altenew has released some new hot foil plates and I absolutely love to foil!
I used this one numerous times. This is the Eucalyptus Wreath Stencil and Hot Foil Plate. My first card is hot foiling first with my Glimmer machine and then stenciling on a rainbow of Altenew inks.
The sentiment comes from another new stamp set which is the Colorful Soul which I’ve also used a lot throughout my cards.
Here’s another version but using just warm colors.
Then I have one where I just foiled the Eucalyptus. I trimmed the panel down and added small strips of gold glitter paper.
I heat embossed a sentiment from Colorful Soul but also added a few smaller sentiments from the Tiny Sentiments Hello Stamp set.
Colorful Soul stamp set is a simplistic layering set with a unique design.
I made the soft colors really pop by adding to a black card panel.
Next up is the Splatter Hot Foil Plate. Boy this one is cool! I couldn’t help but dig out my rainbow glimmer foil.
Really hard to photograph but trust me, looks amazing in person!
Last up is the large All Kinds of Amazing Hot Foil Plate. This takes up an entire card front and looks fantastic on pattern paper.
When you use pattern paper with a plate as big as this, you don’t need much else.
I have to say, this may be one of my favorite releases from Altenew.
To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to 2 lucky winners and a $25 gift certificate to 8 winners ! Please leave a comment on the Altenew card blog and/or each designers blog on the hop by 12/9/21 for a chance to win. Altenew will draw 10 random winners from the comments left on each stop of the hop and announce the winners on the Altenew Winners Page on 12/11/21.
If you arrived from Emily Midgett’s blog, you are in the right spot.
Your next stop will be Erum Tasneem.
If you get lost along the way, be sure to head back to the beginning on the Altenew blog.
Wow … you’ve outdone yourself! I usually don’t do Altenew’s hops b/c I just cannot jump around to ?? 40 sites? It’s too many sites and overwhelming. But since I love your work, I took a look. Fantastic cards!

The splatter and the rainbow foil is so simple but it is really impactful. That one is my favorite.
Great cards, I love how the first 3 are the same yet so different.
Thank you so much for this inkspiration! So often I am way to focused on realism, that I forget to just enjoy color. So thank you for reminding me that I do not have to stick to what I see around me. 🥰
