Cards Christmas Simon Says Stamp

Rainbow Snowflake Edges & UPDATES!

Welcome everyone! I’m sharing some inspiration using the Snowflake Edges stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. Please be sure to read the end of this post too as I have some information to pass along.

I’m going through some products that I purchased recently and putting them to use. I had fallen in love with the Snowflake Edges stamp set from Simon Says Stamp and thought – why not a rainbow? Sometimes its fun to get out of the normal Christmas/Wintery colors.

There are multiple snowflake edges that can be used. I’m using the corner pieces by stamping them onto white cardstock measuring 3 3/4″ x 5″ with embossing ink. Then I’m sprinkling on clear embossing powder and heat setting it.

Once embossed, I’m ink blending a rainbow of colors using the Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks. I have Cheeky, Lemonade, and Seafoam which once blended over the top of each other will create the missing pieces of the rainbow like orange and purple. Although, the purple that was created from Seafoam and Cheeky wasn’t really what I was going for so I used Gina K Designs Lovely Lavender.

I layered up cardstock to add dimension to this blended panel and added to a white cardbase.

I have a bunch of Holiday Sentiments from Pinkfresh Studio already foiled and ready to go so I just added foam squares to attach it to my card front.

I finished it off with some Marshmallow pearls from Pretty Pink Posh.

No joke, this card maybe took me 20 minutes!

Ok, now onto some updates. You may have read or noticed that I have been updating my blog/website. Well, in that process my blog notifications that you receive via email have been malfunctioning and I didn’t realize it until a lovely follower notified me. If you haven’t seen an email from me, your Spam box is probably full lol . Or you are not seeing the full posts in the email.

I have been doing a little updating today and I’m hoping I found a better solution. I have a new signup form that you can subscribe to. Once signed up, you SHOULD be notified on new blog posts. Be sure to check your Spam folder though just in case.

With this new program, I should be able to also send out separate newsletters. It would be more of a recap of things or special notices maybe once a week.

You can find this new signup either on the bottom of my homepage or in the sidebar of my blog.

I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to transfer blog subscribers over to the new set up unfortunately. There’s about 700 followers there and I would hate for any of them to miss new content.

So if you are reading through this post, thank you! If you like receiving inspiration delivered right to your mailbox, I suggest using the form above or in the sidebar of the blog. You can always unsubscribe at any time.

If you do sign up with the new program and you find my old ones, it’s probably best you unsubscribe from the previous version so you don’t get sick of me.

Thanks again!
