Welcome everyone! I’m popping in to share a clean and simple card created with the candy canes stencil. I love this stencil because candy canes always remind me of Christmas.
This is actually a 2-piece stencil but I only used one layer of it. I ink blended on Festive Berries with a blending tool onto white cardstock. Then trimmed the panel down to 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and added to a card base created from Red Velvet cardstock.
I will never get sick of using this Merry & Bright die from Simon Says Stamp. It’s my all-time favorite from this year. Unfortunately, it is out of stock but be sure to hit the Notify Me button so you know when it’s restocked.
I layered the sentiment 3 times with Red Velvet cardstock, added to a vellum shadow layer and then added two more layered white die cut words to add dimension.
So simple I almost feel guilty lol.
